OSBH and ROCKCOTE had an amazing official launch on the Thursday 25th and Friday 26th of October.

On the Thursday we had around 50 different architects, engineers, certifiers, builders and trades which launched ROCKCOTE systems on Ecol Mega Panel, Autoclave Aerated Concrete (AAC) range highlighting the different advantages of ROCKCOTE’S Flexitex and Quicksand Coarse systems on AAC.

Friday was an information training session on OSBH Codemark Certification installation of AAC and was followed again by ROCKCOTE’S Flexitex and Quicksand Coarse systems. OSBH also announced that OSBH has welcomed ROCKCOTE under CODEMARK as a proprietary system!

There were over 100 trades on the Friday and the response was overwhelming by all where the objectives in the two days of the ROCKCOTE launch was to demonstrate ROCKCOTE products and a system that will save you time and money without compromising your quality of work. Both the Flexitex and Quicksand Coarse come with warranties of up to 15 years!

OSBH would like to personally thank Managing Director Bob Cameron, Technical Advisors Garry Hill and Frank Diaco from ROCKCOTE who flew down to Adelaide for the launch. Phillip Amato for demonstrating the OSBH AAC and the ROCKCOTE installation and application process, everyone that attended and the management staff that made it a success!

Building advisory notices and the Building Standard newsletter inform building practitioners of proposed changes to legislation and other building control matters.

This mentions in particular that AAC (Autoclave Aerated Concrete Products) fall in the category of NON DEEMED TO SATISFYother than those companies that have their products deemed to satisfy or are Codemark Certified.
Codemark certifications are accredited through the Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand (JAS-ANZ) who in turn evaluate and certify building products/ systems. A relevant authority is obliged to accept CodeMark certified cladding systems.
